The Mold that Changed the World Musical

November 1, 2022 at 5:15 pm - 9:45 pm

Join for an exclusive opening night celebration of The Mold that Changed the World.

This stateside debut of the sell-out Edinburgh fringe musical tells the story of Sir Alexander Fleming and his discovery of penicillin, while providing a lyrical warning of the looming threat of antimicrobial resistance. Joining the London West End professional cast are a volunteer chorus of local Atlanta healthcare heroes—scientists, doctors and frontline medical professionals—to perform in this entertaining show, while challenging the audience to consider the turning point humanity now faces.

Before the musical begins, enjoy light bites and hear from experts about the urgent need to protect antibiotics’ fragile future so we don’t lose this lifesaving resource.

  • 5:15 – 6:15 p.m. Pre-panel reception
  • 6:15 – 7:15 p.m. Antimicrobial Resistance panel discussion
  • 7:15 – 9:45 p.m. Musical performance
