The Risks and Rewards of Real-Time Payments: The Brazilian Experience

The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta and the Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce of the SE are pleased to invite you to attend a virtual event that will explore lessons the United States can learn from the Brazil experience with implementing real-time payments.

The event will bring together a distinguished group of panelists to discuss the opportunities and challenges of a real-time payment environment when it comes to rebalancing convenience, risk management, and consumer protection. Experts from Brazil will share lessons learned from their experience with building and implementing instant payments, while policymakers and practitioners in the U.S. will share considerations that must be sorted out as the payments systems prepares to initiate and receive faster payments.
