Thyme for Change

On Saturday, October 19 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., Emory Point is hosting a community event to raise awareness for World Food Day on the lawn by General Muir. Members of the community are invited to enjoy light bites from General Muir, plant their own herb garden with supplies and assistance from Pike Nurseries, and mingle with local Georgia food sustainability groups including Slow Food Emory, Wholesome Wave Georgia, Truly Living Well, Second Helpings and CompostNow.
Attendees will work on their green thumb while they learn how to be part of the solution in food sustainability and celebrate World Food Day. All contributions will later be donated to the Atlanta Community Food Bank.
