Takeda (formerly Shire) in Covington, GA is one of the largest, newest and most innovative pharmaceutical plants in the world!
Come join for a tour of this amazing facility that produces pharmaceuticals, including Gammagard and Albumin, and others with a focus on drugs for patients with primary immune deficiencies.
The group will tour the Takeda facility as well as the new Georgia Quick Start Bio Science Training Center! The $14 million, 40,000 square foot Training Center is a key component of the state’s long term initiative to promote and grow the life science industries.
