It’s a new environment for global trade. NAFTA is being rejiggered. Europe escaped Trump’s metal tariffs, but issues like privacy and tax are still causing rifts in the relationship. With protectionism on the rise, it’s unclear whether we’re headed for light scuffle or an all-out trade war. 

In Georgia, international business is largely linked to North American and European investors and trading partners. Canada is the top export destination for Georgia, and Germany is the No. 2 import market.
