Exporters face U.S. export controls on every shipment, yet many still struggle to apply a clear, workable compliance framework. Join this practical, two-hour workshop designed to take the mechanical approach out of the equation and apply solid principles you can use to ensure your company is compliant with U.S. export law.

Led by Dina Molaison, Senior International Trade Specialist with the U.S. Commercial Service, and Darrel Hulsey, Director of the UGA SBDC International Trade Center, the workshop will walk through the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) website, highlight areas of particular interest, and briefly cover key concepts from ITAR and OFAC Sanction Programs. No lengthy presentations, just practical guidance on how to navigate the regulations.

Attendees will learn how to understand who has jurisdiction over their product, develop an export compliance process, determine if a license is required, and take advantage of available export resources.
