Vertigo Dance Company: Vertigo 20

October 22, 2016 at 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Established a quarter-century ago, Israel’s Vertigo Dance Company uses contemporary dance to explore profound connections within society, art, and the environment and, over the years, has established itself as a unique presence in the world of dance. This exciting project, by choreographer Noa Wertheim, weaves together twenty years of Vertigo Dance Company’s creations. With a truly distinct artistic vision that challenges the limits of both the human body and human awareness, every Vertigo performance takes audiences into unfamiliar-yet deeply compelling-territory. This year, Vertigo Dance is part of the #ExposedATL Israeli Dance Festival co-hosted by Georgia State University’s Rialto Center for the Arts, CORE Studios, Emory University, Kennesaw State University, and the Israeli Consulate. Sponsored by: Charles Loridans Foundation and Israel’s Office of Cultural Affairs in North America Consulate General of Israel to the Southeast. Vertigo 20 is a coproduction of the Vertigo Dance Company and Fondazione Campania dei Festival – Teatro Festival Italia
