What You Need To Know Today About Main Street

June 3, 2020 at 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join Squire Patton Boggs, as they will discuss the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) forgiveness, audit risk and repayment and the Main Street Lending Program.

Payroll Protection Program

Learn about the status of the PPP program and whether companies can still participate and the terms. In particular, they will review the ability of companies owned by foreign parents to borrow under this program. They will also address the risks around audit of this program and the process for claiming loan forgiveness. Finally, they will share the latest developments from Congress about extending the program and making it more usable.

Main Street Lending Program

This Main Street Lending Program is the next stimulus program to assist small and mid-sized companies. It is expected to begin in early June and will make loans between $500,000 to $200,000,000 available to companies through the banking industry. Again, they will address the eligibility requirements and particularly whether companies with foreign affiliates and owners can participate. How these loans interact with existing loans and how companies should address their existing lender relationship, will be a particular focus. Finally, they will cover the financial terms of these loans and expected documentation.

This webinar is hosted in partnership with Squire Patton Boggsโ€™ย Houston officeย and will feature welcome remarks by Office Managing Partnerย Greg Wehrer.
