A firm believer in service before self\, McCormick joined the Marine Corps and became a helicopter pilot. \n\n\n\nDuring his two decades of service\, Rich deployed to combat zones in Africa\, the Persian Gulf\, and Afghanistan. As a Marine\, he flew helicopters\, was Airborne and attached to Army and foreign forces\, and taught at Georgia Tech and Morehouse College as the Marine Officer Instructor. In the Navy\, Rich earned the rank of Commander and served as Department Head for the Emergency Medicine Department in Kandahar\, Afghanistan. \n\n\n\nBetween deployments\, Rich earned his Master of Business Administration from National University and medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta\, where he was honored to serve as student body president. He completed residency in Emergency Medicine through Emory while training at Grady Hospital in Atlanta. Most recently\, Dr. McCormick served as an Emergency Room physician at Northside Hospital. \n\n\n\nIn Congress\, Rich serves on the House Armed Services\, Foreign Affairs\, and Science\, Space\, and Technology Committees\, as well as the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic. \n\n\n\nRich lives in Suwanee\, Georgia and is a member of Cross Pointe Church. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegister

Chun serves as Vice President of the Korea Chapter of the Association of the United States Army and MIG Alley Chapter of the U.S. Air Force Association\, Advisory Member of the National Policy Planning Committee\, and a Board Member of the Korean Animal Welfare Association.  \n\n\n\nLTG (Ret.)  Chun has previously served as Vice President of the Korea Freedom Federation\, Chief of the Election Support Branch\, Civil Military Affairs/Strategic Operations Directorate at the Multi-National Force (MNF) in Iraq.  \n\n\n\nFrom November of 2005\, Lieutenant General (Ret.) Chun served as the Director of U.S. Affairs at the Korean Ministry of national Defense and was involved in negotiations and cooperation with the U.S. on the relocation of U.S. forces\, camp returns\, ROK/U.S. Joint Vision Study\, Special Measures Agreement\, and the transition of the Wartime Operational Control.  \n\n\n\nLTG (Ret.) Chun commanded the 27th Infantry Division and was the Senior Member of the UN Command Military Armistice Commission. In November of 2013\, Inbum Chun was promoted to Lieutenant General and was assigned as the Commander of the ROK Special Warfare Command. Lieutenant General (Ret.) Chun retired from active duty as of July 31st\, 2016. \n\n\n\nLieutenant General (Ret.) Chun has also conducted concurrent fellowships with the Brookings Institute and the U.S.-Korea Institute (USKI) at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) until October 2017. He was also a Distinguished Visiting Fellow at the Sam-Nunn School of International Affairs at Georgia Tech. LTG (Ret.) DESCRIPTION:Kayobi-Kai dinners are on-going dinner meetings that meet the 2nd Tuesday of each month at different restaurants in the metro Atlanta area. The Kayobi-Kai is intended to be an informal gathering to promote friendship and social networking\, and anyone who to interested is welcome. All Kayobi-Kai dinners will begin at 6:30pm and everyone in attendance will be responsible for their own check at the end of the evening. \n\n\n\nThe average group attending these Kayobi-Kai dinners is 8-15 people\, and depending on the restaurant\, we may have to cap attendance. DESCRIPTION:Mount Jade Southeast (MJSTASE) and Taiwanese American Professionals (TAP) will hold an exciting Asian Heritage and Taiwan Cultural Exhibition on Sunday\, June 30th\, at Brook Run Park in Dunwoody. \n\n\n\nThis event aims to provide a comprehensive understanding and experience of Taiwan’s diverse culture through various cultural displays. The exhibition will feature four different aspects to showcase Taiwan’s unique characteristics: Hakka culture\, Nostalgic Childhood\, Technology and Medical advancements. \n\n\n\nOn-site\, there will be Hakka handicraft workshops where attendees can experience traditional Taiwanese crafts firsthand. It’s also an excellent opportunity to bring children to listen to stories and play games. Additionally\, there will be a photography exhibition and storytelling sessions on the cultures. \n\n\n\nMJSTASE will be responsible for the technology section\, primarily introducing the most important technological trends. This includes an explanation of the chip manufacturing process and physical exhibits. It will fully demonstrate Taiwan’s status as a technological island and its significant role in AI\, as well as the latest trends in automotive electronics.
