DESCRIPTION:Jumpstart the FDI Recovery at the Transatlantic Business & Investment Conference in Atlanta\, Georgia\, on November 8\, 2021.\n\n\n\n\nFor its fifth anniversary\, the TBIC is pleased to host its Transatlantic Business & Investment Conference in Atlanta\, Georgia on Monday\, November 8\, 2021\nAfter a tumultuous year that upended travel between the two sides of the Atlantic\, the Transatlantic Business & Investment Conference will take place in-person in 2021. \nThe conference will include: \n• Extensive face-to-face interactions with the leading network of economic developers and site selection experts in the transatlantic marketplace \n• An intensified focus on capacity building: in interactive workshops\, you will engage with leading experts on FDI marketing\, site selection\, workforce development\, digital advertising\, and more \n• Prepare for take-off: learn more about the current state-of-play of key European markets and industries\, and prepare yourself for a “return to normal” for international FDI attraction \nRoom Block\nAll attendees who are interested in arriving on Sunday\, November 7\, are encouraged to book a room at the Westin Peachtree Plaza (210 Peachtree St NW\, Atlanta\, GA 30303)\, where the TBIC organized for you a room block with preferential rates. Drinks and a selection of hors d’oeuvre/appetizers will be served at the discretion of the TBIC. For participants only interested in partaking in this gathering – and not to the conference on Monday\, November 8 – a registration limited to the welcome reception on November 7 is also possible. \nConference Opening and Covid-Protection\nThe conference itself will officially open at 9:00 am on November 8 at the Metro Atlanta Chamber (191 Peachtree Tower\, Suite 3400\, Atlanta\, GA\, 30303)\, after an optional networking breakfast from 8.00 am at the same location. \nPreventive measures to contain the spread of the coronavirus will be observed during the duration of the conference.
