SUMMARY:Webinar - From Exports to Exit: How International Business Can Fuel Startup Success
DESCRIPTION:When Sean Casey helped found helicopter parts supplier Rotorcorp\, he quickly noticed that companies who deploy these “flying pickup trucks” weren’t confined within U.S. borders. From far-flung fisheries and oil wells to expansive cattle ranches and infrastructure monitoring\, Robinson helicopters were being put to use all over the world in a variety of utilitarian\, and sometimes unorthodox\, applications. \n\n\n\nThe problem\, he soon found\, was that those who served them with spare parts were largely focused domestically\, and online ordering\, if it existed at all\, was a far cry from the e-commerce ease most consumers expect in their personal shopping. \n\n\n\nMr. Casey set to work expanding in two interlinked directions: digitizing inventory and improving online sales\, while also broadening company’s geographic reach\, relying on a variety of freely available resources — and carefully crafted personal relationships — to become an expert in exports. \n\n\n\nRotorcorp achieved liftoff\, and Mr. Casey exited the company in early 2025\, taking his talents and hard-won international business lessons to Dragon Q Energy\, a startup that distributes solar power poles outfitted with batteries to off-grid locations in need of reliable electricity. The company is set to launch a pilot project in Zambia as it raises capital to scale into disaster relief\, telecom\, commercial and military applications. With this new venture\, Mr. Casey is building exports into the strategy at the outset\, rather than bolting it on as an afterthought. \n\n\n\nAttendees will glean the following takeaways: \n\n\n\n\nHow local connections\, free resources and commitment to global business can help unlock export success\, pairing U.S. strengths with global demand\n\n\n\n\n\nHow to bring e-commerce solutions and scale to a fragmented legacy industry stuck in analog processes\n\n\n\n\n\nLessons on growing globally as a startup\, and how international business can boost resiliency\, attract capital and accelerate a business sale\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSean Casey\, Chief Commercial Officer\, Dragon Q Energy\nA native of Rochester\, New York\, Sean Casey is the proud father of four children and has called Atlanta\, Georgia home since 1997. After co-founding Rotorcorp in 2011\, alongside his brother Daniel Casey\, Sean assumed the leadership role as the company’s CEO in 2018. \n\n\n\nA military veteran\, Sean served as an M1 Abrams armored crewman in the U.S. Army and he embodies the leadership principles honed during his service. SUMMARY:A Conversation with Ahmet Bozer\, Author of Soulgery: Self-Surgery of the Soul
DESCRIPTION:In this in-depth dialogue with Ahmet Bozer\, former senior Coca-Cola executive\, about his book Soulgery: A Lifelong Guide to Unlocking Your Potential\, the discussion will explore Bozer’s unique framework that challenges conventional self-help by identifying the “sense of self”—our collection of thoughts about ourselves—as both necessary and potentially limiting to growth. Drawing from 20+ years in global business leadership and incorporating Sufism\, Eastern philosophy\, and cross-cultural insights\, Bozer presents a four-act structure for personal transformation. The discussion examines both philosophical foundations and practical applications of managing one’s psyche while balancing self-reflection with collaborative growth. \n\n\n\nKey Takeaways: \n\n\n\n1. Reframing the Self-Concept: Participants will learn why managing (rather than building) the sense of self unlocks greater potential\, and how to distinguish between healthy self-awareness and ego-driven limitations that prevent doing what is right. \n\n\n\n2. Cross-Cultural Leadership Insights: Listeners will benefit from Bozer’s international business experience\, gaining practical wisdom on how cultural contexts shape ego and privilege\, and how these dynamics impact leadership effectiveness globally. \n\n\n\n3. Actionable Framework for Daily Practice: The conversation provides concrete guidance on implementing the four-act Soulgery framework in busy lives\, including how to balance introspection with collaboration and integrate practices like “smart bias for positivity” without adding stress. \n\n\n\nThis webinar is FREE and open to all\, but registration is required. Zoom details will be sent to all registered participants. \n\n\n\nFeatured Speaker\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAhmet Bozer\, Former EVP Coca-Cola Company\nAfter a career spanning continents\, cultures\, and decades\, Ahmet Bozer has turned his focus to a deeper exploration of unlocking human potential at scale. Drawing on his extensive experiences\, he has developed an innovative\, actionable model for personal and professional growth\, introduced in his book Soulgery (now available). The name Soulgery is inspired by the idea that each person can perform a kind of “self-surgery” on the soul—not to suggest operating on it literally\, but to encourage connecting with it by managing thoughts\, emotions\, and mental models. \n\n\n\nSoulgery offers an organic yet transformative way to accelerate growth through the natural course of everyday life. Designed to resonate across cultures and worldviews\, the framework empowers individuals to chart their own unique course. By honoring the human capacity to grow on one’s own terms\, Soulgery builds a living foundation for unlocking human potential at scale. \n\n\n\nCareer Highlights: \n\n\n\n\n25 years at The Coca-Cola Company\, largely in strategic leadership roles\n\n\n\nServed as President of Coca-Cola International\, overseeing all operations outside North America\n\n\n\nAs Group President of Eurasia and Africa\, led key markets such as India\, Russia\, the Caucasus\, Central Asia\, Türkiye\, the Middle East\, and Africa\n\n\n\nChaired the Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU) and the Brazil-U.S.\, U.S.-Pakistan\, and U.S.-Turkey Business Councils\n\n\n\n\nEarlier in his career\, Bozer worked in the computer auditing practice at Coopers & Lybrand and taught as an assistant professor at the DeVry Institute of Technology. \n\n\n\nHe currently serves on the Advisory Board of Swire Coca-Cola\, the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University\, and on the Board of Directors of the Turkish Philanthropy Funds. His past board roles include Coca-Cola Hellenic\, HepsiBurada\, and ESAS Holding. \n\n\n\nBorn in Istanbul\, Bozer earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Middle East Technical University (Ankara) before moving to the United States in 1981\, where he completed a Master’s in Business Information Systems at Georgia State University. He now lives in Georgia with his wife\, Fatos\, and their two children\, Kerem and Esra. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegister
