His main dance style consists of Tutting\, Animation\, Hip-Hop Freestyle.\nJa’don Christian – “Ja’don Christian also known as “Enerjaee” is a Professional Dancer\, Contortionist\, and multi-faceted artist born and raised in St.Croix\, United States Virgin Islands. She now specializes in Popping Animation\, Bone-breaking and Tutting\, but also incorporates elements of other dance styles like Waacking\, Voguing\, Contemporary\, Ballet and Contortion.  Enerjaee has performed and partnered with various brands/artists like World of Dance\, Macklemore\, Casanova\, Governors Ball Music Festival and more.\nDonSoup – DonSoup has been dancing for over 7 years now\, performing with celebrities like Chris Brown\, Teyana Taylor\, and many other artists. In addition\, he has competed and won many battle events such as Gr818ers \, Battlefest\, and Da Modd. His primary dance style is Dancehall.\nOlivia Danso – Born in Boston and raised in the city of Atlanta\, Olivia Danso is half Ghanian and half Liberian\, representing the West African diaspora. She has worked alongside Kanye West\, Teyana Taylor\, Rick Ross\, Tekno\, and Yemi Alade just to name a few. Her primary dance style is Afrobeats.\n\nThe Red Bull Dance Your Style Atlanta qualifier is open to the public (ages 18+)\, and doors open at 7 PM ET. Hajia Samira Bawumia\, Second Lady of the Republic of Ghana. Remarks will also be provided by guest speaker Amelia E. Laing\, MD (Ob/Gyn)\, and special guest C. Jack Ellis\, Former Mayor of Macon.  Phenomenal performances will be provided by Dr. Amelia E. Laing\, the Legendary DJ Fisho\, and a Super Auctioneer Margy Marj.  \nGuest of Honor\nH.E. Laing\, MD. \nDr. Amelia Efua Laing was born in Accra\, Ghana\, and received her training at the University of Ghana Medical school. It was there that she developed a love for Obstetrics and Gynecology. She moved to the US where she did 4 years of Breast cancer epidemiology research before specializing in Ob/Gyn. She has practiced in her specialty for 25 years in Ohio\, and after 15 years opened a non-profit women’s Hospital in Accra which has now had over 700 deliveries. She is married with twin sons. \n

SUMMARY:Nigeria - US Relations: A Strategic Partnership
DESCRIPTION:Nigeria is often thought of as a bellwether for the continent of Africa. Its population is the largest on the continent\, a demographic that has approximately 70 % of its population below the age of 30. Blessed with many natural resources\, it is the largest oil and gas producer in Africa. With a diverse population numbering over 250 ethnic groups\, it strives to meet the challenges of economic growth and guaranteed democratic principles. \nAt this event\, the Nigerian Ambassador to the U.S.\, Dr. (Mrs.) Uzoma Emenike will speak about the Strategic Partnership between Nigeria and the U.S. as well as the many investment opportunities available. \nAbout the Speaker\nH.E Dr. (Mrs.) Uzoma Emenike was Nigeria’s Ambassador to Ireland with concurrent accreditation to Iceland\, between the 30th of August 2017 and the 17th of May 2021. \nFollowing her historic appointment by President Muhammadu Buhari as Nigeria’s first female Ambassador to the United States of America\, Ambassador Emenike arrived in Washington DC on the 18th of May 2021 to assume duty. \nDr. Emenike joined the Nigerian Foreign Service in January 1987. She served variously in the Protocol\, Africa\, and Training departments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. For six years\, between 1992 and 1998\, she was posted to the Nigerian Embassy in Abidjan\, Côte D’Ivoire. Upon her return to headquarters in Nigeria in 1998\, she was variously deployed to other departments of the Ministry\, during which she represented Nigeria in numerous bilateral and multilateral missions\, both at home and abroad. \nIn 2002\, Dr. Emenike voluntarily left the Foreign Service for the private sector where\, amongst others\, she worked as a Management Consultant. \nAmbassador Emenike has two Bachelor’s degrees\, three Master’s Degrees\, and a Doctorate Degree. She earned a B.Sc. Sociology and Anthropology from the University of Maiduguri\, Nigeria\, and an LL.B from the University of Reading in the U.K. She also holds a postgraduate diploma in Diplomacy from the Nigerian Foreign Service Academy as well as a Master’s degree in International Law and Diplomacy from the University of Lagos\, Nigeria. Dr. Emenike subsequently earned another Master’s in International Management from the University of Reading in the U.K. She capped her academic pursuit with a Doctorate degree in International Relations\, also from the University of Reading in the U.K. \nHer major areas of interest remain Africa and her people. Among her published articles are: “The AFRICA We Envisage in 50 Years’ Time” and “Europe Needs Africa”. She is also the author of the book — “Africa: The Centre-Piece of Nigeria’s Foreign Policy.” \nAmbassador Emenike is a quiet philanthropist. She has\, through her family’s Emenike Foundation\, empowered numerous women and youths. Join us after the 20-minute screening for a behind-the-scenes talk with Director & Producer\, Myles Matsuno\, and discover how we can find hope\, love\, and happiness in the darkest of places and explore how cultural understanding can lead to new ways of promoting peace & harmony in your life. \nFilm: First to Go: Story of the Kataoka Family \nLength: 21 min \nLogline: One December morning in San Francisco\, a young girl’s father was forced from his home and family. He was first and 120\,000 Americans were next. This is her story. \nSynopsis: A couple hours after the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor on December 7th 1941\, Ichiro Kataoka was the first San Francisco Japanese prisoner taken by the FBI from his hotel in Japan Town. Through a series of unfortunate events\, Ichiro would eventually reunite with his family three years later in Topaz\, Utah after President Roosevelt issued Executive Order 9066\, which forced all Japanese residing on the West Coast to relocate to desolate Internment Camps throughout the country. Their only crime was being of Japanese ancestry.  \nDecades later\, though a collection of footage\, the Kataoka family legacy is being told through Ichiro’s daughter\, great grandson\, and relatives of what this family had endured.
