Enjoy music\, rangoli making\, live performances and delicious sweets while being engulfed in a beautiful natural forest setting. \n\n\n\nWhether you’re familiar with Diwali — The Festival of Lights or simply curious to learn more about this beautiful celebration\, we welcome you to join us! This event is perfect for all ages. \n\n\n\nSpace is limited. Reserve your spot today! \n\n\n\nWhat to expect: Each narrated forest walk is 30 minutes. You’ll experience a vibrant reenactment of The Story of Diwali — celebrating lights\, joy\, and triumph over darkness. Enjoy light refreshments and warm beverages along with surprise treats at the conclusion of the walk. \n\n\n\nLocation: Dunwoody Nature Center – 5339 Chamblee Dunwoody Rd\, Dunwoody\, GA 30338 \n\n\n\nTiming: Walks will begin promptly at the time selected during registration: \n\n\n\n\nGroup 1: 6:30pm\n\n\n\nGroup 2: 7:00pm\n\n\n\n\nParking: Parking is complimentary for guests. Guests are invited to park in the spaces available in the Dunwoody Nature Center parking lot. Additional parking is available in the upper lot of Austin Elementary School. The goal of the festival is to introduce\, preserve\, and enhance the amazing impact that Ireland and the Irish have had and continue to have around the globe. \n\n\n\nA new partnership this year with the Roswell Cultural Arts Center (RCAC) will provide concert attendees a wonderful experience and will enable new growth for the festival! This year\, two amazing Irish bands will be in attendance: Dervish and the Ashley Davis Band. Building on last year’s successes\, the festival will continue to offer high quality cultural experiences in various locations across Historic Roswell\, including free programming. New this year are Irish films\, IrishFest’s first Irish bread making contest and a special demonstration of “sean-nós” (“old style”) dance.
