In this position\, she proudly represents the Haitian Government and serves the Haitian Community in a jurisdiction that encompasses the states of: Georgia\, Alabama\, Tennessee\, North & South Carolina\, Mississippi\, Louisiana\, and Texas. Mrs Colas Rene\, born and raised in Haiti\, embarked on a distinguished career with a strong educational foundation\, she has dedicated her professional life to diplomacy\, international relations\, and public service. Over the years\, she has held several responsible positions that reflect her commitment\, expertise\, and dedication to advancing the interests of her country. She started her professional career in 2014 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Haiti. She demonstrated outstanding skills and dedication in her role. In 2018\, she did an internship at the United Nations in New York from which she further deepened her knowledge of international relations and cooperation. In July 2021\, she was transferred from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Haiti to the Consulate General of Haiti in Atlanta as a Consul. Then\, became Consul general in July 2024. She has solid experience in the fields of international relations\, diplomatic representation\, and consular protection. Mrs Colas Rene’s primary responsibility is to serve as liaison between the Haitian community and their government while also promoting Haiti’s interest in her communication with US authorities.
