In July 2021\, she was transferred from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Haiti to the Consulate General of Haiti in Atlanta as a Consul. Then\, became Consul general in July 2024. She has solid experience in the fields of international relations\, diplomatic representation\, and consular protection. Mrs Colas Rene’s primary responsibility is to serve as liaison between the Haitian community and their government while also promoting Haiti’s interest in her communication with US authorities.
