SUMMARY:Free Virtual Performance for Kids: She No Princess\, He No Hero
DESCRIPTION:Join for the newly revised online version of FIAF’s beloved play She No Princess\, He No Hero! \nThis engaging virtual performance for families will be broadcast LIVE on Zoom and Facebook with kids able to interact with the actors during the performance and post-show Q&A. \nLeïli and Nils are in the same class. SUMMARY:UN Global Conversation With Ambassador Andrew Young: What a Wonderful World
DESCRIPTION:UN Virtual Global Conversation: Join the world’s biggest conversation \nKeynote speaker: Ambassador Andrew J. Young \nShare your perspective with the United Nations \nWhat: \n\nTo mark its 75th anniversary in 2020\, the United Nations will launch the biggest-ever global conversation on the role of global cooperation in building the future we want.\nThe UN75 initiative will work with partners from around the world to initiate dialogues within and across borders\, sectors and generations. The aim is to reach as many people as possible.\n\nWhy: The objective is to stimulate longer-term discussion – and action – on reinvigorating global cooperation and on solutions to the biggest challenges we face. \n\nTo listen to their hopes and fears; and learn from their ideas and experiences.\nThrough these conversations\, the United Nations aims to build a global vision of 2045 – its centenary\, to increase understanding of the threats to that future\, and to generate ideas on expectations of global cooperation to secure that future.\nGlobal opinion polling and media analysis will be conducted in parallel to the dialogues to provide statistically representative data that can inform future communications and policy making.\nThe views and ideas generated will be presented to world leaders and senior UN officials at a high-profile event in September 2020\, as well as disseminated online and through partners on an ongoing basis.\n\nWho Can Participate:   \n\nAnyone can join this global conversation. While UN75 seeks to drive conversation in all segments of society – from classrooms to boardrooms\, parliaments to village halls – it will place special emphasis on youth\, and those who may not normally engage with the United Nations.

SUMMARY:Mitigating Export Finance Risk – Private and Government Resources
DESCRIPTION:A number of U.S. companies are growing by exporting products through international markets. When deciding to export\, business owners should consider several things: \n– Does exporting align with the company’s growth strategy?\n– Do we understand what it takes to export profitably?\n– How do I get paid? \nAs with all sales\, being paid in full and on time is key to exporting successfully\, and like most negotiations between companies\, financial transactions are influenced by local customs\, cultural norms and common practices. \nThe University of Georgia Small Business Development Center’s International Trade Center’s consultant Darrel Hulsey will help you identify payment methods and safeguards U.S. exporters can use to be competitive in international markets while reducing risk. \nSponsorship opportunities are available. If you are interested in sponsoring this program\, please contact LeAndrea Mikell at lmikell@wtcsavannah.org.
