DESCRIPTION:Barkinado’s work often resembles an assembly of mosaics\, each a part of something infinitely larger\, and each oddly unsettling the other parts and yet they come together in a beautiful whole. The origin of this style of painting is simple in that initially he lacked the resources to purchase proper canvases and so he used simple A4 papers. As he filled each one\, he simply added more and more of them\, taping them together to create large figurative works. Later he realized that taping them together and off center seems to refract light and images in complex fractured portraits. Though each sheet has its own significance taken together they weave a whole albeit with multiple and distinctive perspectives. The gaze of his subjects is often weary and melancholy – almost as if their incredible beauty is too heavy a load to carry. It is this gaze that lends the added perspective of a peoples gazed upon – looking back at the world with a deep understanding that almost says: ‘you can’t even begin to understand me.’ \n\n\n\nRegister Today! \n\n\n\nAnnouncement from aKAZ! DESCRIPTION:These virtual career fairs provide an opportunity to engage virtually with undergraduate and graduate students interested from several University System of Georgia institutions seeking FINTECH careers and internships. \n\n\n\nEmployers have the opportunity to recruit from majors such as\, Computer Information Systems\, Computer Science\, Finance\, Accounting\, Data Analytics and Actuarial Science. The event is a collaborative effort between the Georgia FinTech Academy and the Georgia State University Robinson College of Business. Your organization will benefit by adding talent from a globally diverse\, academically prepared and highly motivated student body. \n\n\n\nFintech Career Fair Format: This Fintech career fairs will take place on the Handshake platform. Employers register for career fairs and make payments through Handshake. Employers will receive a resume book of all registered student’s resumes prior to the fintech career fair. Employers are encouraged to contact the students directly after they have reviewed their resumes to arrange 1-on-1 sessions in Handshake or any desired platform. \n\n\n\nA link to the Handshake will be provided to the employers and students.Employers will sign up for 20-minute time slots to speak about their company.An itinerary that details the company time slots will be emailed to the registered employers and students.Employers will deliver their 20-minute company presentations. Ambassador Beste completed his Abitur (high school diploma equivalent) in 1985\, and from there served for a year in the German military. He then continued his higher education studying history in Bochum\, Bielefeld\, and Baltimore receiving a Master of Arts from both John Hopkins University\, in Baltimore\,  Maryland\, as well as Bielefeld University in Bielefeld\, Germany.  \n\n\n\nFrom 1992-2014\, Beste served a variety of editorial roles for both public offices and private publication. Most notably\, he spent thirteen years as an Editor of Der SPIEGEL in Berlin\, as a political editor and writer. In 2014\, Beste was appointed Deputy Head of the Planning Staff in the German Federal Foreign Office. He proved himself as an effective contributor and leader finally becoming the German Ambassador to the Republic of Austria in September of 2019. Ambassador Beste is happily married with two children\, and resides in Berlin\, Germany.
