From United tailgates to the pitch\, Falcons training camp to the stands and abroad\, Pree Bright turns the camera to the fans—and through them\, to the teams they love—finding togetherness and solidarity in the places where sport becomes tradition\, and fans become family. \n\n\n\nThis exhibition is part of a broader university-wide initiative celebrating Atlanta’s vibrant sports culture as the city prepares to host the 2026 FIFA World Cup. DESCRIPTION:The City of Decatur has announced Decatur WatchFest ‘26\, with the goal of connecting the city to FIFA World Cup 26™ matches in June and July of 2026. The 34-day free soccer and music festival will kick off with many opportunities for residents and visitors to enjoy matches at Decatur’s pubs\, restaurants\, and public spaces. \n\n\n\nFIFA World Cup 26™ runs from June 11\, 2026  through July 19\, 2026\, with eight matches taking place at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Decatur will join greater Atlanta to celebrate the arrival of world class soccer to Atlanta. \n\n\n\nDecatur WatchFest ‘26 will offer music\, games\, activities and food and beverages on and around the newly renovated Decatur Square as fans watch the world’s top soccer matches. \n\n\n\n\nEvery FIFA World Cup 26™ match will be shown in Decatur during WatchFest ‘26\n\n\n\nAll matches will be shown in Decatur’s 40+ Official WatchFest Soccer Pubs and Restaurants\n\n\n\nSelect matches will be shown (pending FIFA approval) on a large screen on the newly renovated Decatur Square\n\n\n\nNightly Pre/Post Match Concerts will feature named and local acts during Decatur WatchFest ‘26.\n\n\n\n\nWith a MARTA stop in the middle of the City immediately beneath the festival site\, Decatur is an easy direct train ride to the action at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. A career diplomat with more than 30 years of service and a member of the Mexican Foreign Service since 2001\, he holds the rank of Minister and has extensive experience in foreign policy\, consular protection\, national security\, and strategic communication. \n\n\n\nPrior to his current role\, he served as Head of the Consular Section at the Embassy of Mexico in the United States\, where he led efforts to provide documentation and assistance to hundreds of thousands of Mexican nationals.
