A seminar about export opportunities for Georgia companies will be held Thursday, Oct. 16, at the Atlanta Marriott Gwinnett Place from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Job Dieleman, an international trade consultant with the state’s Business Outreach Services, and Anthony Von Thelen, FedEx sales manager for the Peachtree District, will lead the seminar.
Mr. Dieleman will review the topics: how to find the best export markets, how to price one’s product for those markets, how to select market channels and how to ensure getting paid.
Mr. Von Thelen will explain how to complete the necessary documentation to clear customs, and how to establish a company’s global transportation network.
