Georgia companies that exported to a new country in 2014 will be honored during the upcoming visit of the state’s international trade representatives from 11 countries.
During the March 2 event, the Georgia Department of Economic Development is to host its third annual “Go Global” reception, where it will present GLOBE awards to the 44 companies that accomplished the feat. The state recently announced that exports grew 4.9 percent to $39.4 billion, faster growth than in 2013 and another annual record.
