Nine of Georgia’s 11 international trade representatives will be available at a reception to be held at the World Trade Center Atlanta Tuesday, Feb. 18, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

      Carlos Martel, deputy commission of the Georgia Department of Industry, Trade and Tourism (GDITT), encourages exporters interested in learning what opportunities may be available in the countries and regions represented to attend.

      He also told GlobalFax last week that officials from communities in Georgia interested in attracting investment from the represented countries should consider attending.

     The representatives scheduled to be at the reception include:  Max Gorissen from Brazil; Jeff Johnson, Canada; Jimmy Kiang, China; Sherwin Pomerantz, Israel; Yumiko Nakazono, Japan; Boon Tan, Malaysia; Steven Rosenberg, Mexico; Donald Keene, South Africa; and Eugene Tai, Taiwan.

      Georgia also has representatives in Belgium and South Korea who will not be attending.
