Kathe Falls, director of international trade for the Georgia Department of Economic Development, has been appointed to a four-year term on a federal trade policy advisory committee.
The Intergovernmental Policy Advisory Committee on Trade provides advice from the perspective of state and local governments to United States Trade Representative Ron Kirk and cabinet or sub-cabinet members
.Ms. Falls recently completed a two-year term as president of the State International Development Organization in Washington. She is a member of the Trade and Transportation Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta and is the state of Georgia‘s coordinator for its partnership with the U.S. Export Assistance Center.
