Crispin Teufel is the chair of GACC South

The German-American Chamber of Commerce of the Southern U.S. Inc., or GACC South, has added five new members to its board of directors, gaining increased executive representation from both large German investors and startup founders.

Executives joining included  Kjell Gruner, president and CEO of Porsche Cars North America; Jonathan Dawley, president and CEO of KION North America Group, Heiner Dornberg, CEO of Groningen USA LLC; Lars Oltmanns, CEO and co-founder of Up to Good, a caffeinated drink made from discarded coffee fruits; and Arnold Servo, managing partner at the accounting firm Rödl & Partner.

The GACC South, which itself brought in a new CEO last year, has a strong track record of engaged leadership from the most prominent firms in the region’s German business community.

Other German firms represented on the board include Volkswagen Group of America, Mercedes-Benz USA LLC, BMW Manufacturing Co., I.K. Hoffman GmbH and many others, along with Atlanta-based multinationals like Delta Air Lines, United Parcel Service and more.

Crispin Teufel, CEO of Lincare Holding Inc., was elected as chairman in January, taking over for outgoing Chair Peter Rielhe.
