Payment processor Global Payments Inc. announced June 10 that it has tapped a former Google executive as head of global product development.
Frank Young, the new senior vice president for global product and innovation, spent time at Google focusing on the intersection between technology and commerce. He headed up the tech giant’s strategy for payments between people and merchants.
Before that, he also worked with Firethorn, MasterCard Advisors and Accenture.
Global Payments has more than 4,300 employees worldwide and more than $3 billion in annual revenues.
