Atlanta International School (AIS)’s new partnership with Google Atlanta reflects a long-term commitment to supporting need-based financial aid and enhancing educational programs through technology and innovation.

As the school’s Global Education Sponsor, Google aims to expand opportunities for AIS students by integrating cutting-edge resources with the school’s globally recognized International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum.

“At Google Atlanta, we believe in the power of lifting future generations through education, opportunity, and technology,” Amin Damji, senior director of global network infrastructure at Google, says about the new collaboration.

“The International Baccalaureate curriculum, taught through language and innovation at Atlanta International School, can open doors to the world for local students. Our relationship with AIS will help to broaden these opportunities and provide increased access to a diverse student body here in Atlanta,” Mr. Damji continues.

The Google partnership includes providing financial aid for qualifying children to attend AIS.

Last year, financial aid supported around 13 percent of the AIS student body. With Google’s support, the school hopes that number will increase. Any family can apply to the school and request financial aid – with the regular admissions season opening on October 1st, and rolling admissions open throughout the year.

“Need-based financial aid allows children from all backgrounds to experience the incredibly powerful combination of the IB curriculum and the intentionally inclusive intercultural community here at Atlanta International School,” says AIS Head of School Kevin Glass. “This learning environment gives our students the best possible start, to go out and live lives of meaning, full of joyful purpose in our complex, interconnected world.”

In addition to financial aid, the Google–AIS collaboration will also create a series of joint educational programs for students and educators. Still in initial stages, initiatives will leverage Google’s expertise to enhance the IB curriculum and foster innovative teaching methods.

Families interested in exploring educational opportunities at AIS, including the financial aid supported by Google, are invited to submit applications for the upcoming academic year. More information is available at www.aischool.org or by calling (404) 841-3840.
