WebEntrada Inc., an Hispanic internet service provider, is seeking corporate partners for its new venture, Knowledge Bridge, a program that will refurbish used computers and donate them to children in the Hispanic community.

“Eighty-percent of the Hispanic market domestically is not being tapped into,” Kevin Chung, president and CEO of WebEntrada, told GlobalFax in an interview at the Atlanta Metro Chamber of Commerce’s rooftop reception for the Latin America 2000 convention last week.

WebEntrada will launch Knowledge Bridge here, but it could eventually operate at the national level and even a worldwide level, once this market is saturated, to send computers to third world markets that companies want to develop.

Mr. Chung said WebEntrada wants to establish credibility for the project by partnering with pivotal companies in Atlanta and the southeast.
