Global real estate developer Hines, based in Texas, has landed international clients for two of three buildings in its new Hall County logistics park.
ETI Lighting, a subsidiary of NVC International, a Hong Kong-listed company that operates six manufacturing sites in China, purchased the 111,000-square foot Building C in Thurmon Tanner Logistics, an industrial park in Flowery Branch, Hines said in a news release.
Meanwhile, Mimaki USA, a Japanese subsidiary whose parent company is based in Nagano, is setting up a U.S. headquarters, by leasing 107,000 square feet, nearly half the capacity in Building B, as it aims to expand market share of its large-format printers.
The new space for Mimaki will include a showroom and office space, consolidating two other existing facilities, including one listed in Duluth.
Situated along Interstate 985, the park also includes the 445,000-square-foot Building A, with 36-foot clear heights and multiple rear-load truck bays. Hines says 160,000 square feet of space remains at the site.
Hines is no stranger to metro Atlanta and Georgia, having recently sold the fully leased Busch Logistics Park in Cartersville for $67.5 million.
“Atlanta’s strong labor force has made it one of the nation’s fastest-growing industrial markets, generating significant interest from local companies seeking to establish a presence in the region,” Ryan Wood, managing director at Hines, said in the news release.
