The U.S. Commercial Service and the Russian-American Chamber of Commerce are hosting a seminar in Atlanta Friday, June 26, on exporting to Russia.

The event, which starts with registration and coffee at 7:30 a.m. will be held at the Georgia Tech Research Institute, 250 14th St. Cost is $50 per participant.

  “Russia’s growing economy is fueling demand for goods and services across a broad range of sectors,” said John Fleming, commercial officer with the Commercial Service’s U.S. Export Assistance Center in Atlanta. “If Georgia companies learn how to navigate the Russian market, then they can take advantage of those export opportunities.

Speakers will include a Russian specialist with the U.S. Commerce Department and an official with the Export Import Bank of the United States, said Mr. Fleming.

Seminar topics include Russian Visa regulations, the business environment and U.S. trade policies.
