Leonard Ngaithe, Kenya’s ambassador to Colombia, Mexico and the United States, is to attend the 3rd Anniversary Gala of the Association of Kenyan Professionals in Atlanta on Saturday, June 26. The event will be held at W-Hotel, 111 Perimeter Center, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Mr. Ngaithe has replaced Yussuf Nzibo, who was transferred to serve as Kenya’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
The theme of this year’s gala is “Celebrate Kenya: Discover our Treasure Chest,” in an effort to encourage Kenyans living in America to promote the country as an international business and tourist destination.
The association was founded in 2001 and its membership is comprised primarily of Kenyan professionals working and living in the metro Atlanta area.
The cost to attend is $65 per person. For more information, call Jean Adero at (404) 510-1909 or send an e-mail to 2004gala@akpa-atlanta.org
