Kia Motors is once again accepting online job applications for positions at its West Point, Ga., plant.
This is the third hiring wave for the Korean automaker, which hired more than 2,000 workers in the first two rounds.
Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia Inc. began production of Sorento sport-utility vehicles last November and had churned out 100,000 through September of this year. The Sorento is currently the top-selling Kia model in the U.S.
Kia has said that the Georgia plant, its only factory in the U.S., would make 300,000 vehicles per year at full capacity.
