Sir Paul Newall, the Lord Mayor of London, will speak in Atlanta on Thursday, Sept. 15 at a luncheon hosted by the British American Business Group (BABG).  Sir Paul is one of the few British members of the New York Stock Exchange and is head of the Corporation of London with the City which is committed to maintaining and enhancing the City’s status as a leading financial center.

Jeremy Gotch, London’s sheriff, and Col. Mark Carnegie-Brown, city marshall, will also attend the luncheon, which will be held at noon at the Cherokee Country Club.  Reservations are required to attend the luncheon.  $30, members; $35, guests.  Call the BABG at (404) 681-2224.
