An initiative fostering art, business and educational collaboration between Atlanta and Africa is seeking a marketing and event manager to craft its strategy ahead of its 2014 launch.
Africa-Atlanta 2014 will bring together universities, companies, museums and government agencies for an array of programs highlighting ties between the Georgia capital and the continent.
Organized by Georgia Institute of Technology‘s Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts, the program will be anchored by an exhibition of art works from the Royal Museum of Central Africa in Tervuren, Belgium.
The person selected for the position will put together a marketing plan for the program, create branded promotional materials, develop relationships with stakeholders and manage events, among other duties.
