The Metro Atlanta Chamber is to hold its annual Global Impact Awards on April 24 to honor innovative companies contributing to international business in the area.
Nominees for foreign investor of the year include Chinese companies SELF Electronics and Sany Heavy Industry, along with Indian rug maker Surya Carpets Inc.
Atlanta-based Hannah Solar, St. Joseph’s Translational Research Institute and Suniva Inc. will vie for the trade and business development award, while the global partner award will go HLB Gross Collins PLC, United Parcel Service Inc. or Wesley Co.
The National Association of Chinese Americans is to receive the global impact award.
The event is to be held at the Hotel Intercontinental Buckhead Atlanta from 11:30 a.m . to 1:30 p.m. Mansour Javidan, director of the Global Mindset Institute at the Thunderbird School of Global Management, will give the keynote address.
