Robert Wright, Canada’s deputy minister for international trade, and Jaime Serra, Mexico’s former minister of trade, will participate in a program entitled, “Should Nafta Be Extended?”, to be held in the Ivan Allen Pavilion at The Carter Center on Tuesday, Sept. 23, from 5-7 p.m.
Robert A. Pastor, director of the Center’s Latin American and Caribbean programs, will provide a U.S. perspective on Nafta.
The discussion also will consider whether Nafta should be extended to a Free Trade Area of the Americas.
The program is free and open to the public but seating is limited and is on a first-come, first-served basis.
