An Alpharetta company that will sell the first Indian-made automobiles in the U.S. has named a new vice president and general manager.
Ann Durham will take on both positions at Global Vehicles USA Inc., the exclusive marketer and distributor of a line of diesel-powered SUVs and trucks made by the Indian conglomerate Mahindra Group.
The vehicles are scheduled to hit the U.S. market in mid-2009.
Ms. Durham is a former chief financial officer at Lotus Cars USA Inc., where she oversaw an overhaul of the company’s financial systems and gained experience in many aspects of the operation.
