Georges Ugeux, group executive vice president, New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), is to provide a European perspective of the globalization of equity markets at a luncheon on Friday, April 9, at the Capital City Club downtown to be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.
Mr. Ugeux is responsible for developing new international listings for the NYSE, maintaining relations with listed non-U.S. companies, exchanges and governments, as well as dealing with regulatory issues in the U.S. as they relate to international securities.
He is a member of the NYSE’s Office of the Chief Executive and reports to Richard Grasso, chairman and CEO. He also is the chairman of the Belgian American Chamber of Commerce in the U.S.
The luncheon is sponsored by the Southern chapter of the Belgian American chamber in cooperation with the local Canadian, French, German, Netherlands, Swiss chambers and Metro Atlanta Chamber.
