SUMMARY:Global Health Forum Speaker Series: Session 2\, "The Role of Religion and Culture in Shaping Global Health"
DESCRIPTION:The Emory Global Health Institute invites you to the second session in their Global Health Forum Speaker Series. \nIn collaboration with its Faculty Fellows\, EGHI coordinates two to four Global Health Forums each academic year. Each forum tackles a different timely global health topic with the goal of emphasizing the multidisciplinary aspect of global health work. An EGHI global health forum typically follows a panel discussion format and includes Emory faculty members and visiting scholars/panelists with expertise in the forum topic. Faculty Fellows from each Emory school are encouraged to participate in the development and implementation of the Global Health Forum Speaker Series throughout the year. This program is one way in which EGHI connects faculty from across campuses around global health issues. \n  \n \n\nPanel discussion registration| 12:00 – 1:15 p.m. EST \nBreakout session registration| 1:20 – 2:00 p.m. EST – This session will include a moderated discussion about the recommended readings (linked below). \n  \n  \nYou may register for the panel discussion and/or the breakout session. Separate registration is required for each. The panel discussion will be recorded and made available on their website. \nLinks to recommended (but not required) readings will be sent prior to the sessions.
