SUMMARY:United Nations Day - International Community School Outdoor Community Event
DESCRIPTION:On Friday\, October 29\, International Community School (ICS) will mark United Nations Day with an outdoor community event open to the public.  \nFor this year’s 19th annual event\, the school will celebrate more than 400 students representing more than 25 nationalities.  \nThe school’s 400 students (K-5th) represent more than 30 nationalities and speak 25 languages\, with 74% of students coming from low-income households\, and the school is the only elementary International Baccalaureate school in Georgia that serves refugee and immigrant students.  \nTheir annual United Nations Day celebration showcases the cultures of their students through an international parade\, song and dance performances and family-sponsored potluck. \n  \n\n\n	From the archive:
