DESCRIPTION:On Thursday\, September 17\, 2020\, OneShared.World and partner organizations across the globe will co-host our online signature event RISE OR FALL TOGETHER: The OneShared.World Interdependence Summit 2020. We will bring together some of the world’s most inspiring people of all backgrounds and ages and highlight voices ranging from top global leaders — including Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus\, Director-General of the World Health Organization — to inspirational students to refugees and others — including performances by opera superstar Renee Fleming and Australian Sikh rap star L-Fresh the LION. \nThe summit will explore how recognizing the mutual responsibilities of our deep interdependence with each other and our shared ecosystem must underpin all efforts to solve our greatest common challenges\, including pandemics\, climate change\, and systemic global poverty and inequality. The summit and the global community it brings together will seek to drive real and meaningful change in practices\, decision-making processes\, structures\, systems\, and outcomes ensuring tangible progress toward building a safer and better world for all.
