DESCRIPTION:Women giving back to those in need with the Atlanta Community Food Bank \nCelebrate a late Giving Tuesday with this post-Thanksgiving online event on December 8 with the Atlanta Community Food Bank! \nThe Atlanta Community Food Bank’s Education and Outreach Team will be joining to share their brand new Digital Community Food Experience. This interactive simulation was created by the Food Bank in collaboration with a cohort of computer design students at Georgia Tech. \nThe experience helps bring to life major barriers to food security\, explores the relationship between poverty and hunger\, and illuminates the impact food insecurity has on health outcomes. You will also receive an overview of the Food Bank and learn how COVID-19 has impacted both their work and the communities they serve. \n** The registration fee is $15. All fees collected will be donated to the Atlanta Community Food Bank.** \nIf you cannot make it but would still like to contribute\, a high impact alternative to collecting food items is to collect monetary donations. Every $1 donated provides enough food for 4 meals – doubling or even tripling the amount of food your dollar can provide at the grocery store. \n\n\n	From the archive:
