The Atlanta office of freight forwarder Panalpina Inc. participated in a program to provide disadvantaged children around the world with Christmas gifts.
The company has supported Operation Christmas Child for nine years, according to Chery May, ocean export manager. Franklin Graham, son of evangelist Billy Graham, founded the program in 1978.
“This year’s boxes are headed for India,” said Ms. May, who added that the contents include educational toys, health items and school supplies.
Basel, Switzerland-headquartered Panalpina is a forwarding and logistics company with a global network of 480 branches in 74 countries and employs 12,000 people worldwide. There are 80 employees in the Atlanta office.
