Eric Trachtenberg, most recently stationed with the U.S. Department of Agriculture in Beijing, has been named vice president for international trade at the Atlanta-based USA Poultry & Egg Export Council.

Mr. Trachtenberg joined the foreign agricultural service in 1995 in Washington. He worked in Moscow and in Taiwan and is fluent in Russian and speaks Chinese.

The poultry and egg export council is an industry trade association with offices throughout the world including Singapore, Korea, Saudi Arabia and South Africa. For more information, click here.
