Atlanta-based Ross Systems Inc., a provider of software management solutions for process manufacturing, healthcare and public sector markets, is planning a rapid expansion through North and Central Africa and the Middle East.

Last week the company concluded a strategic alliance with a group in Morocco to create Ross Systems Maroc SARL.  According to a statement, the new Casablanca-based company is to open support offices during the next few months in other cities in the region “directly or through additional partners.”

Dennis Vohs, Ross Systems’ chairman and CEO, said that Ross Systems Maroc would first focus on providing services to European companies, which recently have established a presence in Morocco.

Morocco’s entry into the World Trade Organization (WTO) next year would assist company sales by forcing the Moroccan enterprises “to get structured and acquire integrated management systems…,” according to Mohamed Lamrini, president and general manager of the new company.

Ross Systems Maroc will be responsible for expanding its parent’s products into countries in North and Central Africa, and the Middle East, including, the Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Cote d’Ivoire,  Egypt, Gabon, Kuwait, Madagascar and Mali.

Ross Systems employs more than 650 professionals in more than 60 offices around the world.  For more information, call (770) 351-9600. Its Web site is located at http://www.rossinc.com
