A seminar concerning the global impact of the financial crisis in Brazil will be held at the World Trade Center Atlanta on Tuesday, Feb. 2, from 6-8 p.m.
Speakers are to include David Bruce, chairman of the Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce; J. Harold McClure, senior economist at Arthur Andersen; E. Miller Williams, director of transfer pricing for Arthur Andersen and George Havranek, president of Havranek International Research.
Among the issues to be discussed are the effects of the crisis on Mercosur (the Southern Cone Common Market) and Asian economies. The regional impact on the U.S. and the political and social ramifications of the crisis on Brazil also will be discussed.
Cost of the seminar including a briefing book is $39 for World Trade Center members, and $59 for non-members.
