U.S. Trade Representative Ron Kirk will visit Atlanta on March 25 to discuss how pending trade agreements will help create jobs for small Georgia companies.

Free-trade pacts negotiated with South Korea, Panama and Colombia are awaiting ratification by Congress. All have come under fire at various times from groups concerned that they will siphon off American jobs.

The U.S.-Korea agreement was revised in December and is expected to be put to a vote first.

Mr. Kirk will host a meeting with Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed at the Metro Atlanta Chamber to answer questions from small business owners.
