A United Parcel Service Inc. cargo plane brought two more whale sharks from Taipei, Taiwan, to the Georgia Aquarium on June 1.

The plane, which landed at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, brought the male sharks, Yushan and Taroko, which were caught in the Philippine Sea. They join three other whale sharks already housed in the aquarium’s Ocean Voyager exhibit.

The fish were transported in a specially designed UPS plane that was used previously to transport the other three sharks, Norton, Alice and Trixie, on the 8,000-mile trip to Atlanta.

The whale sharks, the largest fish in the world, range from 13 to 15 feet in length. The aquarium’s 6.3 million-gallon exhibit can house up to six full-grown whale sharks.

More than 5 million visitors have visited the aquarium in its 18 months in Atlanta.
