Gabriel Vaca, an executive at Atlanta-based United Parcel Service Inc., has been appointed to the senior corporate executive board of the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Mr. Vaca, director of strategic account sales of international products at UPS, is also a board member and former chairman of the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. The senior corporate executive advisory board works with the U.S. Hispanic Chamber on issues affecting Hispanic businesses such as purchasing, recruitment and public policy. 

“Providing leadership and strategic direction in helping Hispanic business grow in Georgia with the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce has been a platform to expand with the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce,” Mr. Vaca said in a prepared statement.
