SUMMARY:Nostalgia for Taiwan: Taiwanese Acrobatic Troupe
DESCRIPTION:To celebrate October 10th – the National Day of R.O.C. (Taiwan)\, a Taiwanese Culture Goodwill Mission Troupe will tour the US and Canada between late August and September to perform: Nostalgia for Taiwan at Gas South Theater on September 5\, 2024. The performers are from the Taiwan Acrobatic Troupe from the National Taiwan College of Performing Arts. The performance is hosted by the Atlanta Care and Assistance Association and several local Taiwanese American organizations. \n\n\n\nIn addition to native cultural customs\, immigrants also brought various distinctive customs to Taiwan\, creating Taiwan’s unique multicultural landscape.  \n\n\n\nThis program features the essence of acrobatics and its distinctive techniques\, combining drama\, dance\, and music to present a large-scale interdisciplinary acrobatic performance.  \n\n\n\nSongs in Mandarin\, Taiwanese\, Hakka\, Cantonese\, and indigenous languages tell stories that belong to Taiwan. The program further integrates acrobatics with Taiwan’s unique Temple Tair Formation performance culture\, allowing overseas compatriots and foreign friends to feel the charm of Taiwan\, delivering a stunning and heartwarming sound and light experience. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegister\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n	From the archive:
