DESCRIPTION:The Global Textile Trade Fair (GTTF) is a platform where the who’s who of the textile industry get connected and explore an opportunity to enhance trade reactions between India and the USA. \nThe US accounted for 35 percent of India’s textile exports in the year 2020. Apparel and home textiles together accounted for more than 90 percent of the total textile and clothing exports with shares of 52.7 and 40.8 percent respectively. \nThe US and India are the top major contributors to the textile and clothing trade across the world. For apparel\, the US is one of the top importing countries across the world and India is among the top five exporting countries \nIt will be the focus Indian market show in USA where buyers will come with the mindset of buying from Indian industry.\nGujarat is considered as the textile hub of India. The state is producing nearly 30% of cotton and 56% Denim of the country’s total production. Besides\, the state is having a lion’s share of 38% in the manufacturing of manmade filament fabric and 30% in woven fabric. After an increase in purchases by domestic buyers\, the textile industry in Gujarat is now witnessing encouraging export demand from Europe\, USA\, Australia and New Zealand.
