DESCRIPTION:The annual Atlanta Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival is Georgia’s biggest Hong Kong cultural event of the year.  \n\n\n\nThousands of competitors and spectators join to cheer their favorite teams\, witness cultural events during the opening ceremonies\, and indulge in cuisine from around the world. Here is a little of what you will see at our event which is regarded as one of the premier cultural\, diversity events in the Atlanta area. \n\n\n\nRegistration for the 2025 Atlanta Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival is open! This year both 20 seater and 10 seater boats this year will be available! There are limited spaces available for the 10-seat boats. A total of 30 slots are available\, on a first-come\, first-served basis. If you sponsor at Silver level or above\, you have the option of choosing either all 20 seater boats\, all 10 seater boats\, or a combination. Please note there are only four divisions for the 10-seat boats. Please also note that there is a 2000lb weight limit for the 10-seater boats. For this reason\, you must attend a practice session in order to have your boat properly loaded. Medals are awarded for each division (Gold\, Silver\, and Bronze) and for each size boat. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegister\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n	From the archive:

Moving into its eighth year\, the Atlanta event is part of a series of races taking place in major metropolitan areas along the east coast including Boston\, Washington\, D.C.\, Philadelphia\, and New York.\nCultural Events: At noon\, the opening ceremonies begin. Spectators are treated to cultural presentations and dances that are fun for the whole family.\nTeam Building: Teams of companies\, universities\, breast cancer survivors\, and friends come together to compete in action-packed\, exhilarating races. These experiences bond team member together for years to come.\nInternational Cuisine: Enjoy food from Hong Kong and around the world.
